First Day of Little League

Treyton had his first little league practice last night.

He loved it and did a great job. Tim is able to be a part of the practices and games, so that’s awesome for the two of them. During the practice the girls and I headed to the nearby park. Luckily I brought my big camera lens and was still able to get a couple of great pictures of the practice.

Treyton is a great hitter, he needs a little work with his catching and bases. He isn’t used to using a heavier metal bat, but I am sure in the next couple of weeks he’ll get the hang of it. The first time he ran the bases he ran the wrong way…. honest mistake… lets be honest it has happened to the best of us could happen to any of us.

He is in a great program and I love that the focus right now is purely an introduction to the game, instilling the basics and a love of the game, rather than a win or lose focus.
